Happy 2008 Part Two

Christmas day we drove over to Mark and Nancy's house for a fantastic Christmas Day Dinner. Nancy's table was covered with delicious food that took her days to make! We all enjoyed Prime Rib (cooked to perfection, despite the oven turning off twice and the directions being wrong!),, mashed potatoes, yams and a yummy jello salad....thanks to wonderful helping hands, it was my first Christmas ever that I did not do dishes (isn't that spot reserved for the Grandparent status?) It sort of made me feel old when I realized that I didn't help with the dishes or the meal...humm....On that same note, Art realized today that in June he will be able to get the senior discount...oh my gosh!

We spent the next couple of days playing games, enjoying each other's company and window shopping in downtown Folsom!

What a great Christmas surprise!!!!!!
