Last week Art and I both came down with a virus, he intestinal(if you know what I mean) me some kind of cold/throat/sinus funky thing. Well, needless to say, who was there to make the chicken soup that would help us get better! So we didn't. We stayed in bed all weekend, but it didn't help much! I think he secretly wants me to stay sick, since I can't talk. I secretly want him to get better so he can make the chicken soup!
Today, Monday, we had an unpredicted snow storm...what the heck? With all the technology we have, you can't tell me when it's going to snow? Not just snow, blizzard. I'm not going to go on and on about the craziness of this storm, but give me a break....District 20 didn't even know about it or they would have cancelled school, they always do!

Today the snow arrived here. It snowed all day long. And now the high is supposed to be subzero for the next several days. Melanie made hot buffalo wings to keep us toasty. (I prefer buffalo wings to chicken soup.) Make sure you keep the nasty viruses back there--don't forward 'em along with your snowstorms. :)
