S.Bo Bo does not want to be cuddled, but will get in close proximity if you entice him with your cell phone. He loves it and will not be tricked by one that is turned off.
We had the great chance to play outside and swing, which is one of our favorite things to do.
We made roman shades for one of the bedrooms, which was something I had no experience in, so I wasn't much help. I played trucks and cell phones and dress up dolls, while Mel did all the work! They turned out really really cute.
I managed not to cry on the way to the airport, which is a miracle. Here is one of the conversations I had with my future negotiator granddaughter:
Mimi can you come to the pumpkin patch again this year?
Yes, I think I can do that. (October)
Ok, good. You can come back to visit and we'll go to the pumpkin patch together.
Ok.
Mimi, can you play in the sprinkles with me when they turn them on again after Sam's Birthday?
Well, do you want me to play in the sprinklers(summer)or go to the pumpkin patch (Fall) I don't think I can do both.
Ok. Humm Mimi?
Yes, sweetheart.
Um both, sprinklers and pumpkin patch, ok?
Ok.
I love talking to her and answering all her questions, I know most of the answers because her mother asked me the same thing. Next time Sammy Bo Bo will be bigger and will start remembering the fun that we have together and that will help us make even more fun memories for our eternal families.
Thanks for all the fun primary songs running through my mind during stressful times! Thanks for the "ongelopes" I can open when I need a smile. Thanks for letting me be a part of your family night and choosing me to say the prayer. Thanks for letting me tuck you in and spread your blankie. Thanks to Brad and Melanie for doing such a great job raising their children.
