Kindercare, Camping out, Mickey and Cory

This week two teachers quit, one had a seizure, and a child fainted on the play ground. Thank goodness we were not in isolation in a training room! Reality is good when starting a new job!

Art is going to try to wrap up business in Bailey early so that we can push the move date up if possible. Sleeping on an airmattress for three weeks seems like an activity for a younger woman.

We are experiencing a heat wave (breaking records of course) without the pleasure of an air conditioner. It makes for interesting afternoons and evenings. Quiet time is how I like to think of it. I'm not really the kind of gal who likes to sweat, so I do alot of reading until it cools off!

Chupa is very busy taking care of both Mickey and I. When she leaves for work on the weekends he sleeps with me. When she comes home from work about 8 a.m., he sleeps with her. When I got to bed again at night, he sleeps with me....in between those times, he protects us from, foxes, cars, people walking by, loud noises, the TV, and wind. When we are not here, he gets into our purses and helps himself to: chapstick, lunch containers, tissues(a favorite because it shreds)!

Whew!

Mickey leaves to do some mountain audits next week. She will be in Steamboat, Rifle, Craig, Breckenridge and a host of others! I hope they are better at keeping appointments than the folks this week!

She has a new calling...stay tuned!

Cory was in Japan this week. I didn't get to talk to him, but he emailed that he had purchased a pair of boots. I'm waiting for a description...Japanese cowboy boots, what do they have dragons on them?
