Mom and Dad came for a visit over Memorial Day. We had a wonderful time listening to stories and eating good food.
Before they left they bought us a pressure cooker (the last one I had was a wedding present to them over 50 years ago).
The weather had been wonderful before they arrived...then snow, fog, hail rain and chilly temperatures!
We drove over Guanella Pass to Georgetown and encountered a blizzard....Grandma informed all of us that there was not one more blizzard left in her. Needless to say, we took the Evergreen route home!
We had the best Memorial Day ever, inspite of the bad weather.
P.S. As soon as they crossed out of Colorado we have had beautiful warm weather and blue skies...
