Ok, Seriously this is exactly the way Art's birthday went. He bought CROME mirrors for his truck at the junk yard, yes the junk yard. Made me come out to the garage and look at them about 5 times, I'm not kidding. I asked him if he wanted to go out to dinner, he said no, just like I knew he would. So I bought him a chocolate cake (he ate half of it) a steak and made coleslaw, the man is easy to please. Savanna sang him happy birthday and he cried and cried. He misses Melanie and family so much since they moved away.....(hello me too!)
We have had rain every night about 5:00 p.m. nice thunder and lightening with lots of moisture. I figured out how to turn on the automatic sprinklers, now I have to figure out how to turn them off! My tomatoes are growing slowly, so no pictures this week.
Cory had a nice ride on his motorcyle with his girl. I'm so happy when he shares his adventures with me.
Mickey returned from Lousiana yesterday. She was very busy there and tired when she got home. She said the shrimp was plentiful and cheap and the people were very nice. She noticed the recovery 5 years later from the hurricane is slow in some areas, and good in others. She's home just in time to head off to Grand Junction for a week or so in July!
Dried up worms turn back into worms if you put them in water...GROSS!
